Oh looking good CoyoteMagic! I know photos don't seem to do the fabric justice! Maybe should have scanned them rather than taken a photo - sometimes that works better.

I found out about this mystery quilt at an adult ed class I am taking. We are making a Bonnie Hunter quilt called Jamestown landing. Some of the members of the class are doing the mystery as well, so dd and I are trying to pull together some stash. We are way behind, since the 2nd instructions are already posted. We are going to do the black, red and blue. Bonnie's quilts are so time consuming with such little pieces.

I have the step two done - it was a boring weekend around here. I choose burgendy and magenta. I found it was best to peal the paper off first, press them, then trim them to size so that they are are more accurate. My next step will be marine greens because I have a bunch of them that I don't really know what else to do with them.

I realize it is a personal preference, but I agree with Jeanie, the two inch strip just seems too big for such a small square. Only have three done but hope to get to work on more today. Never did a mystery quilt before, just love to watch the individual choices people are making. I started with the black & white QST but decided to use green and purple for the colors.

At the top of the thread, there is a spot on the right that says "ThreadTools" with a down arrow. Click that and choose "Subscrige to this Thread". From there you have some more options. Notification type and Folder.
