To make the space seem bigger....think covering the entire walls with storage shelves 12" or less deep. I put a row of hooks across the tops of a row of shelves and use it for a design wall, to hang a design curtain made from a flannel backed plastic tablecloth especially if boxes of notions or batting is stored behind it.
Once you have got all the same things together - a rule museums use for storage - to save space...
You just might be surprised at how much space you really do have!

Good idea on painting a barn quilt on it. However we think we are going to put a BIG barn quilt on the opposite side of the sliding doors. That side faces the highway and will attract more attention to the shop, LOL

It has insulated walls and ceiling, storage space above the ceiling, and we added a patio door to it. We originally thought it was going to be enough space, but as time goes on, the space is getting more and more confined. We now have plans on having a bigger shop made, with a work area in the back, and a store area in the front. Once we get the funding together for it, and construction started on it, we'll post.
YOU ARE TRUELY BLESSED TO HAVE THIS.
