    Our history teacher's wedding quilt

Our sweet history teacher is getting married this September and this is her quilt. It comes from a very helpful book, "Color for the Terrified Quilter", and the pattern is called Rose Window in the book.

Love the colors, looks like pinks, aquas and grays. I am planning to make my DGD Mary a quilt in that pattern but since she likes 1950's style I was hardpressed to come up with a good color combination. The colors you used fit the 1950's to a T. May in Jersey

Another good 1950's color combo is red/aqua. And you're in luck since it's so in style right now.

LOVE the colors and fabrics! This pattern is very similar to Trip Around the World pattern yet different enough to give it some added interest.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)
