I think the quilt is beautiful and very thoughtful. I am sure your friend will really love it. It shares a memory of her husband, but it is new and won't bring back memories.

I don't know what is up with my camera, some colors don't come out true.
The big blocks seem to have the right colors, Pinkish color is like a rust red, the tan came out okay, the brown by the flying geese is kind of a redish brown, the large border is a black background with green leaves.

I'm sure she will like it.
