I'm still sorting and trying to name pictures, have a ton of them. But this one was my favorite - if you COULD pick a favorite. The quilting on this was like nothing I've ever seen.

It was entered in the "Bed Quilts - home sewing machine" category and took the blue ribbon for that category.

#207 "Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining" by Susan Stewart of Pittsburg KS

    Enjoy.

    It really shimmered silver!

You are soooo right. This is by far the most elegant "quilt" I have ever seen. Can't even imagine the time this took to complete. I would never be able to put that down where anyone could touch it. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Ha ha! No chances with this one as it was well tucked away at the back of the tri-fold display.

The BIS quilt had a "body guard". I've got several close up's of that one to share as well. Tomorrow :)

I want to know more about this quilt. I want to know how she achieved the 3D effect of the large flowers and border embellishments. The quilt was hanging at the back of the tri-fold so I couldn't get close to really look. Looking forward to the next AQS magazine for the full write up.
