Hmm... I don't have a PixieScan mat. I just have the regular sticky mat with the 1" grid on it. As long as my fabric lines up with the cutting objects on the mat compared to the Silhouette software, it's always been fine. I've never done any calibration with it. I'm gonna go google PixieScan now though... sounds intriguing.

Thank you!It's a digital similar to the Brother ScanNCut or the Janome Artistic Edge. It will cut out the fabric pieces for you based on the shape. Here is someone's blog post that explains it pretty well. http://www.seasonedhomemaker.com/cut...-a-silhouette/
