The stippling will make your shoes just pop out. It should be wonderful. You are to the point I like the best, the quilting. But I think I am in the minority. It has been so fun to see all the shoes as you painted them.

Hey, there's a good idea...maybe I'll paint a dozen flip flops! I just got fifteen new bottles of paints today....I've seen quilts made with appliqued flip flops, but alas...I do not want to applique. I own three pairs of shoe...not one of them are heels. I love looking at heels, but haven't worn or owned a pair in twenty years!!
