Love your pansy quilt; they are one of my favorite flowers!

I also live in Texas (Houston) and we have been blessed with more rain this year than in the past several years.
I hope your area gets consistent rain soon!

Yes, we have seen the pictures of some of Houston's rain...a bit jealous, but lots of places have got rain. Our turn has to come soon. I just got back from my morning run, and I noticed a neighbor about a mile away...we live in the country around Wichita Falls....building a pond! Now, he has to think there is rain in our future. Or maybe since all 3 of our drinking water lakes are below 20% capacity, he figured he may as well join the crowd and have a dry pond?

I am pinning the sandwich to quilt my pansy top today. I should have this pansy garden all finished soon.

Really like the Warm Wishes pattern, yours is so cheery and good revenge against the racoons.
Happy quilting.

Beautiful use of a fabric I also fell for. As far as the drought, have all of you neighbors go through the car wash. Gauranteed to make it rain....

You made such a very stunning quilt with just a simple pattern. The sashing of the light purple you picked was perfect for going with the boldness of the yellow pansies. I love Warm Wishes. It is a free pattern for those who are unfamiliar with this pattern.
