Carrie, I would sew them down for a baby. I'm thinking of making one for a 25 year old and I think I'll sew them down. I'd do the baby quilt square, not the turned back edges for the cathedral window look.

I still have to square the blocks up so please don't pay any mind to the uneven edges.

I think I will save the rest of the squares for a future 9 patch quilt.

Be honest and tell me what you all think. :D :D
Beautiful. Add another row of green to the right of the pink in the top picture. Then you could add another of the little squared in the middle of 4 of the big finished blocks. Lol aren't I a pain. I think it's adorable.

klgreene, I see what you are saying and it makes sense. If we don't get hit by severe storms then i will make another row and see how it looks.

time well spent. very spring/baby. I showed my sister how to do one. 30 minutes and 40 cuss words later she rolled her eyes at me and mumbled "10 minute block my [email protected]$". yea we had problems getting the middle to lay down and behave.

You have given me hope...I have not tried the "10-minute blocks" yet mainly because I know that instead of 10 minutes for each block, I'd have to devote 10 hrs/10 days, etc...(smile)
Yours are beautiful...   Naomi

My 10 minute blocks weren't 10 minutes, either! I love what you did with yours. I have some of those fabrics, they are so pretty!

The part 2 was what got me, I ended up resewing most of my blocks because it didn't catch the edge. I have yet to quilt, but I will sew the pockets down, cuz mine is for my gdaughter.

It's going to turn out great, the colour combination is very bright and a child will love it I'm sure.
