They turned out very nice. I am sorry that it was frustrating for you. I hate it when something is supposed to go smoothly and easily and it is anything but that. ;)

ok why did it take so long? I don't understand why if a pattern say 10 mins then it should tak 10mins, If not then send a letter and tell the pattern maker why it took longer and let them chage it to a 30 or 45 min block etc, It would give us an idea of the actual time involved so we could decided if wanted to invest that much tim in their block I feel so bad if i can't keep up the expecations of the designers,LOL

I think I will make it a baby quilt, sew it together and add borders.
I still have to square the blocks up so please don't pay any mind to the uneven edges.

I think I will save the rest of the squares for a future 9 patch quilt.

Be honest and tell me what you all think. :D :D
beautiful color selections. However, I think I'd set it together in a traditional bow tie arrangement since it's a baby quilt.

I love it. I've tried the 10-minute block. The first time it took me at least 2 hours, that's including the time I hit my head against the wall trying to figure out the directions and then sewing and ripping out. The second time I tried I just plain gave up. I don't know why but my mind just won't accept written directions very well

Love the colours. Have you tried switching the position of some of the blocks? If you switch a purple one with a pink one you will get a four patch block with the purples opposite one another and the pinks likewise. I know what I mean but it's difficult to explain.
    Like pink purple
    purple pink

I think I'd like it this way to avoid the two pinks or two purples lining up together.

This will be a great baby quilt. You chose well both in colors and placement of the colors.

Oh, Momma, it is beautiful. And it will still be beautiful whether you make it big or keep it this size. Well worth the time it took.
