What a beautiful quilt. I can see that the pinwheels have to be made both ways. One row has the pinwheels spinning to the right, and the next row has them spinning to the left. The 16-patch blocks seem to be set with the dark corner at the top right sometimes, and to the left sometimes. I don't know if there is a pattern to that, but I guess it works either way.

Love your quilt!! Just to add, when something calls for strip piecing and I am going scrappy, rather than cut all individual squares, I use my scraps to make smaller strips sets, then cut from them. Making sure each set is different will keep the scrappy beauty intact. If you can make strip sets of 12" or so, you can cut several pieces from them. I have made sets as short as 4-5" as long as I can cut 2 or more sections from it.
