    Default Patriotic Panel

My first panel quilt...ugh! The panel was printed wonky on the fabric so it was difficult to get squared and even... Then I ran out of the border fabric for a fuzzie cut for top and bottom borders and had to improvise. So I just pulled the pinwheel design from the panel. Blue border fabric is really cool looking, I think. The rest of the fabric was from my stash. I make a lot of patriotic quilts...this is going to our friend and Vietnam Vet who lives in Pittsburgh. He's been on my list for awhile. Going to the quilter next week...woohoo!

You did a great job. I have several panels that I need to do. Your quilt is an inspiration to get going on the panels.

The fabric is stretched tight on two bars when screen printed...thus ....panels tend to be wonky at times. It just is.

    your project is wonderful!

that is one very attractive panel. I don't see any "wonky-ness" and if there was any, you did an excellent job covering it up> great choice of complimentary fabrics and design> thanks for sharing!!!
