those look great. the only one that stands out to me is the blue with the white right next to the reds. But it may look just fine. I love the scrappy look. Your fabrics are gorgeous!! Nice Stash.

The stars are paper pieced, from a pattern I found online. http://quiltingclimber.blogspot.com/...templates.html

Your fabric choices look good. I might avoid using the last two blues on the right for the little skinny strips, they might be a tad busy. But you may try them and decide they look great. I LOVE scrappy quilts. You can never have too many fabrics! And I always love to throw in a "rogue" or two that sort of march to their own beat, as long as they aren't too distracting. What are you using for your white? Is it solid or white-on-white?

I have a selection of white on whites that I picked up, but the picture I took washed them out almost completely. I'm trying to avoid having any pure solids in this quilt.

I did get started on this in the last week, I just didn't get very far. But here are the first two pieces. I had hoped to have a block done but I had some unexpected yard work and job applications prevent me from doing any sewing this week.
