    Outstanding!! I see that you quilted the white background before you did the center star. Can you tell us why you tackled it this way?

    I started at the top and worked down. If I was hand quilting I would start in the middle but not with a longarm. As I got to the star I did the outline quilting around it as I did the background fill. When I was about halfway through the quilt, and the whole center was exposed, I did the center of the star (changing to red thread).
