Thank you for all the nice comments. It looks alittle washed out from the photo. Yes he plans to take it away with him. The design is X block its a special ruler that depends on how you turn it you get different designs. I am glad I figured out how to post, I was up at 4 AM doing this, been tough 5 days. We had to put out loved sheltie to sleep on Sunday she went downhill so fast and only 8 1/2 yrs old. So we are all somewhat down and I deal with it by getting involved with quilting. I have learnt so much on this site...

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved Sheltie. I had to put one of my cats down in March and I still have a hard time dealing with it and he was almost 17 yrs. old. Pets are so much a part of our lives. You're in my thoughts and prayers and hopefully each day will get easier for you. Quilting has also been my salvation in dealing with the loss of my beloved Boots.
