Oh what a sweet thing to say but I doubt it would win a prize but of course one never knows. I have one in progress that I think might stand a chance but if it were to place I'm afraid my daughter in law, bless her heart, wouldn't her young daughter to have it and I want my quilts used. She treasures my quilts which is wonderful and I treasure her for it but she hasn't allowed her children to use their quilts yet as she fears they'll wear out. My daughter lets her children use theirs daily and yes, the baby blankets are very worn and mended and mended and mended but those children all want a grammy quilt to wrap up every day and they feel grammy's love in those quilts and that's a bond that can't be taken away from us. I'll give some serious thought about entering the quilt. We are allowed to enter 2 quilts into the show and I know the others would be proud if I did enter it. My issue is that 2 old ladies sleeping on the floor in the room with the quilts is NOT my idea of security and yes indeed, wonderful as the Villages is, we do need security for the quilt show. Isn't that sad.
Hugs
Patty

What a lovely quilt. I love the colors and the different techniques. You have to be very trusting to hand over your baby to the others in your round. Everyone did a beautiful job and I agree with you about the scalloped last border. It finishes it off very beautifully.

I absolutely love it! I love your border. Is it hard to do? I would love to learn how to make it. I love your colors and everyone did a terrific job! It is so beautiful! You should enter it in the quilt show! Good luck!

Beautiful quilt! Everyone is to be congratulated. What is the name of the rick rack looking border?
