I've been working on this one for my DS & Dil. The centers are embroidered. The quilt design is from quilter's cache and is called brasstown star.

This is just the top so far and the back will be in this same blue fabric. When they told me the colors they wanted, it just screamed peacock to me!

Wow, you've done a lovely job! Thanks for sharing the picture. I don't have an embroidery machine, but sure enjoy seeing what everyone else is capable of.

That is gorgeous!! I had to look twice because it sure looks like an actual peacock feather sewn to the fabric!!! You did a beautiful job!!

If he thinks it is, just tell him there are TONS of people that would LOVE to have it. I really do think it's beautiful!

Just remind him those are MALE birds ...peacocks are beautiful, peahens are just plum ugly!!! :wink:
