Oh I totally can relate with you. Once I looked around me and saw such chaos I was freaked out thinking what have I gotten myself into? My husband was like, just do a little bit at a time. So I relaxed and did just that. One bolt at a time & one shelf at a time. Like I said I still have Christmas, brights, patriotic, and lots of flannel to do yet...YIKES! I'll enlisting your help...any takers?
I am in the process of putting my stash on boards, too. I love how yours are on open shelves. My stash is in cabinets so when I am in the room, I open all the doors so I can enjoy looking at the fabric. I previously had pieces in clear plastic storage boxes (shoe size). What a pain when I wanted to find a particular fabric even though I labeled the boxes by color. I love your decor items, too. So much personality. What a happy room.

Girl, you do some serious quilting! I love the way u displayed your stash. I too have an open bookcase but mine are folded up according to colors on each shelf with one holding printed out patterns, books, etc. Yours is way more effecient & prettier.
Also your hubby is an darling!

looks beautiful! did you give DH a big hug and kiss today?? well you should because he sounds wonderful! just like mine,I am sure if we had the money he would have done the same. I want to make my stash look like that but it would take forever and I need the little time I have to sew,LOL.

thanx for the peek into your shop

SunnyDays,
Truely I do just walk in to my quilt room and just sigh and look around, and shake my head! I am still in total disbelief. I LOVe my featherweights. If we lived in the lower 48 I would be hunting for them every weekend. I have only started to collect them in the past 3 years. And yes, you may come sit in my room and daydream right along with me and who ever else wants to come. I'll even open my blinds so you can see the stunning mountains we have here. You will be more impressed with that than my room believe me! ;)
