I have a pen, bought especially for this! :-)

I'll be mailing this Friday, yikes, that's tomorrow, to try and adjust for the delay in going uphill from here. I'd better go get my label done!

I can't wait to get my little hands on all of these, ladies!

Okay, here is my finished center and label. The label came out a little crooked, but I won't cut it until it's set for a little while.

Thank you so much for explaining the concept of how you make these little flowers. When I clicked on your link and saw the geranium my heart went pitter patter, lol! I have always adored geraniums. I really want to try this myself.

Sazu,

Your lilacs are really incredible! I caught myself leaning toward my computer monitor to smell them, I kid you not :!:

I'd like to learn how to do them, too. I took my non-sewing 30-year-old daughter to a quilt show last spring. She didn't care for any of the quilts that I liked, but she did like the wall hangings with flowers like yours. Some time I'd like to make one for her.

Oops, I got so excited about the lilacs that I missed the second page. All of the centers are beautiful!

What a beautiful block, love the colours you've used for the flowers too.
What technique is that that you've used. Would love to know how to do this ?

I've done a Lilac & each flower is attatched individually it took forever, take a look at the link the lilac is on page 5

The lilic flowers seem to be causing a lot of interest! They're made with a flower shaped yo-yo maker that is made by Clover and that I bought from the cotton patch in Birmingham, UK (http://www.cottonpatch.co.uk/acatalo...om_Makers.html about half way down). It was a temptation I saw on their stand at a show and couldnt resist, and am glad now that I didnt. They're simple to do sat in front of the TV, and I really like the effect.

Loving the centres - can't wait to get to work on them all!!!

Hiya World Piecers, just checking in! All your centres are beautiful. Sazu, I've got one of those yoyo thingies sitting in my Cotton Patch shopping basket for next time I order!

And Ducky, I love your centre - the frame using the middle fabric sets it off a treat! :D
