I am set up in what is officially the "formal living room". It's large and central to the house and has a bay window. It has no closets or doors!

I just started quilting so my focus in there is still more towards machine embroidery.

Sewing table, computer and tv (I've replaced the tables with bigger ones since this was taken)

Now that's what I call a creative space! I am so jealous of all this room. I am sharing an office and it is always a mess. Color me green. PS- I love your wall colors! So bright and happy.

Wow, quite the setup there especially with your embrodiery machine and serger.

Wow that looks more like a business than a hobby, I'm jealous.

We're still working on it, I'm not happy with the ironing board and I'm going back to my original idea of a pressing table. Searching for a free or cheap kitchen cabinet base that I can use.

Very nice space. What will you do when you have visitors? What will you do when young kids come to visit? Do you have plans to put up doors? Sorry for all the questions, just curious. Pretty Daughter.

I really like the way you have it all spaced out! :)

We have a family room that we love to share and we keep an eye on young kids. Our house is not kid-proof in any room anymore. I do have a screen by the front door so that visitors aren't looking right at my mess.

Have to laugh though, people always ask to see my studio and we often end up perched on the stools in there.
