    Default Picture to fabric

This "picture" has been on my "to do" list for months. I finally collected enough different fabrics to do it. This is a scene from a summer area in Upper Michigan. Many different, subtle colored threads, inks, and crayons helped with the shades I needed. It's going to an award-winning artist friend who has done a painting for me. (Let's hope it passes her expectations.)

Outstanding!!!! I'm sure she will be quite impressed ... and more than most will appreciate the work and detail you have put into this masterpiece!

Would you be so kind as to post the original picture you have taken it from?

I'm really interested in this technique and am looking forward to doing a similar project myself. I'm signed up for a two day course in May that will take me a step closer!
