I tried my hand at attic windows for this swap quilt top. Next time I know I will try to make the window sills contrast a little more than they do here. I still need to starch and press this, then will move on to focus and outer boarders.

Goofy husband who stuck his head up right as I was taking the picture.

I'm trying to figure out if the attic windows stand out enough. It didn't turn out exactly what I envisioned, but now I know how to do attic windows.

I think you're right, there isn't enough contrast between the darker strip and the black in the blocks.
It still looks awesome though!

I agree with the others about the contrast.

You quilt looks great....attic windows are hard :(.

Love the quilt. Sweet kitten, love calico's. Have one myself. And they are nosey as well, if I have something new they are on it.

They stand out nicely!!! 8) 8) 8) Good job Ducky!!! :D :D :D
I could see a bigger difference in the values
when I opened it up in my photo program.
Kitty seems to like it too :mrgreen:
When whoever yelled duck, while Merle was holding the quilt
he popped out to see who was calling your name!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
