Wow are you an amazing stitcher. That is just so beautiful and such tiny stitches. I admire anyone who can do that.

Can you post some close-up pictures?
That way I can really feel inadequate.
    LOL!

Andrea: your workmanship is awe-inspring. From a distance your quilt looked amazing, but close up it is mind bogglingly gorgeous.

Outstanding. I love to hand quilt, I should try one of these someday but I can't imagine doing anything so beautiful. Thanks for showing us your work, post close ups so we can ooh and aah.

    Absolutely stunning. You are amazing.

What do you do with all the fantastic quilts you make? If you give them away there are some very lucky people out there.

Most of them I keep at the moment. I still need some for my handquilting workshops to show the students how a wholecloth looks like. The quilts that won a ribbon I keep for sentimental reasons.

Oh my goodness, Beautiful. I am working on a wholecloth quilt, but it is kinda like a cheater, it has lines on it to help do the quilting, and then you just wash it, and the lines go away. I am hand quilting it. I think it will be beautiful when I am done.

I have started hand quilting about 20 years ago and specialized in wholecloths around 1994/1995. I think I am not so patient...but I can be very persistent and a little bit stubborn! :)
