When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, "I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000 step process."

I remember seeing your name before, and the beautiful quilts you do by hand. This one is no surprise. Simply beautiful. You truly have a gift in what you do. My mother use to do similar work by hand, and she had no pattern for the stitching to go by.

I really love what I do and I am very thankful for the gift I have. And the longer I do wholeclothquilts, the more I do small patterns and details freehand! It's so inspiring.
