I have been quilting for two years now and when I started this quilt, it was going to be a wall hanging. I could not seem to stop making the different squares and realized by the time I assembled the quilt, it was king size. I love how it turned out. I come to this site each day and love it looking at all the things that are shared here. So, hope you like it too.

I love your quilt! I'm glad you kept going and didn't stop at a wall hanging. That is just beautiful! I especially love those two blocks together! Thanks for sharing!

It's absolutely beautiful. You did a great job. That's quite an accomplishment, especially only after two years.

The name of the quilt is "Virginia Stars Sampler" from the book "Knockout Blocks and Sampler Quilts" by Judy Martin. The book is no longer a currant selection, however I found a used copy through Amazon.com. The book has so many wonderful blocks, it was hard to pick which ones to put in the quilt. Thank you all so much for the comments. I love looking at it each time I go into my bedroom.
