I'm usually not a big fan of paper piecing, but this is one of the cutest quilts I've ever seen! Would love to make it myself. Methinks you have a bit of the artist in you.

Sooo cute! Cool that you used graph paper to design your block. Not all of us can afford a quilting program. Old tried and true methods work!

Ha! That is a funny story. I'm sure there were lots of jokes having that last name. I would find a new way to pronounce it too..and change the spellling. ).
