Rhonda, we all know all the oopses on all our pieces, but if we shut our face, no one else will ever see them, or if they do, they will be too polite to say anything! Relax, enjoy, and say "Thank You"! They are gorgeous!

They are 18" x 18" x7" unfinished. I didn't actually measure for the finished size but probably about an inch or so less.

I do them like the hotpads. Lay the top face down onto a backing fabric and sew around the edge. Then turn it right side out and repeat for other pieces (back/sides/bottom etc)
This creates a lining inside.

I am teaching a tote pattern on the Quilt Campus site this fall. But it is using my version of a Drunkard's Path Block.

You must be a raging perfectionist, bc they look awesome, Rhonda. I love the pink one with the birds flying up into the air, lol.
Do you have a pattern for that one?

I can send you one if you want to pm me your address again. I know I have your addy but I have about 350 addresses and it would be easier if you would just send it again!

It is another one of my "Blocks" I call it the "Star Point Block"
It uses an angle cut and sewing three swatches just like the Boston Block just the swatches are put together in a differant way.
It isn't any harder!

Are you wanting the quilt block or the tote pattern or both?

Great totes Rhonda. Love the patchwork designs. Did you do a plain back with the design on only one side or do both sides have the patchwork block.

I love making totes and do a lot of them for gifts.

These have plain backs and no pockets but I used to make purses and I would put a mini quilt on the front and a smaller modified mini quilt on the back as a pocket. I love to do pockets but I have been just doing things a little less involved due to the time it takes to do the extras.
I will probably do some with the extras when and if I get the time and put them on my online store site.
