I am in awe of your quilting skills, design as much as execution! Beautiful is not a strong enough word to describe the finished work....

Thanks to ALL of you for your kind words... my very good friend Robbie made this top, or I should say two tops for her very good friend about our age early 60's and these were her geandmother's work. I thought it was a wonderful idea and way to use pillowcases...you certainly can't put your head on them in a pillow!! I have the HQ Fusion and use ProStitcher... computerized quilting. It took more time to find a design for each block and then to lay it out and make sure the actual embroidery work didn't get quilting on it... What ever the era was then pink seemed to be the color don't you think??? But I think Robbie did a great job of putting these together. And someone aked if they could do the same colors... that would be a compliment to Robbie i'm sure..
Thanks again for all your kind words.

No I did not use stablizer on the back.. these old pillowcases are pretty tough fabric..or should I say very tight and high thread count..

Your quilt is so beautiful. A lot of work went into that piece of art. Thanks for sharing.
