    Thank you. These were the first pin cushions for me. I thought they were really easy to do (and I don't have a lot of experience). Easy enough that I am going to make more!

    I used crushed walnut shells in the folded star cushion, and some poly pellets I got at JoAnn's in the selvage cushion. I have heard that sand makes a good filler, also.

    Try a pet store. They are in the area for snakes and such and much less expensive that way.

    They are so neat and so colorful....I wonder if some of these beautiful little treasures could be tacked to a ribbon and displayed just for pretty?
