That’s really beautiful! I get your comment about unused fused fabric. I think while we're learning the technique and following a specific pattern, it’s probably a necessity until we see how it comes together. I’m thinking subsequent collage projects might be able to be approached differently in that regard. I’m still working on my first project, so this is also just speculation on my part
