I absolutely love your quilt. I made one from that same book and I used the same colors (but also with blue) but I used the more muted shades so it is more old fashioned looking. The colors were definitely "out of the box" from what I usually work with. I saw the quilt made and it was hangning in a quilt store and it was with the muted fabrics and I just had to make it. It is my favorite quilt I have made and I have to make another one because I took it to work and someone loved it and wants me to make her one. I have to admit, when I bought the book to get the pattern, I do not like the colors used in the book. I really do like the colors you used. Now it makes me want to make another one with brighter colors like your. Again, it's beautiful and I can't wait to see how you quilt yours. I definitely want to see it after you quilt it.

After working on Connecting Threads' Tilt a Whirl pattern, which also has pin wheels in it, I can really appreciate the soft colors and the simple but lovely pattern of this quilt that you have created. I look as much forward to seeing this beauty finished as I do to finally finding the finish to the wild quilt I am working on but for different reasons, lol!
