These are "darling" quilts - too nice to be called "draggers". They are going to love them.

I'd drag that second one right over to my chair and cuddle under it. I just love the embroidery on it. The designs are gorgeous!

Very cute quilts - I'm partial to the second one, because I love red work embroidery.

I like the term "Dragger Quilts". Don't be surprised if they end up as wall hangings; they are quite lovely and the two girls will be so pleased.

So cute, my dgd isn't even old enough to walk yet but when the time comes--What are good sizes for "dragger" quilts?

I tend to stay in the 6 1/2 inch sized blocks for a smaller quilt like this. So around forty by fifty is a good size to have tea or sit on for a little girl. It is somewhat about the size of a baby quilt only stretched a little.

Really I only base that by what I thought a little child could handle well and drag around. And have enough room to play on it.
