Awesome I have 3 grandsons who would just love it. Is it a piece of fabric with it all on it or did you put it all on it? I would love to make one for them for christmas.

It is a piece of fabric 2 yards long pre-printed. I used felted pellon in place of batting so it wouldn't be too puffy & added a backing. Each item on it has been outlined to bring areas out. If they use it for a quilt, it will certainly keep them toasty on the coldest of nights, but as a play mat, will give them many hours of fun.

My 15 year old son was sitting when I opened this post and he just raved over it! Said it was so neat, why didn't he have one when he was little :-)

Does anyone know where I can get 3 yards of Cranston Fabrics Children's Town Fabric? I've searched e-bay and a some other quilting stores and nothing so far.
