I love your play mat. It looks like lots of fun. I love your bird too. I have a blue and gold macaw and an African Gray. They are so much fun.

That is so awesome! I bet my little guy would get hours of use out of something like that. Great memories made my grandma!

DH used to have a B&G Macaw. He was quite a character! We had to find him a new home unfortunately & miss him terribly. It wasn't until after he left we found out the reason for the aggression was my greenwing was in season. Then she got eggbound, spent 4 days with a vet & passed away. She was our comic relief & is greatly missed. She would have been a beaks on quilt police. She used to preen the fake fur while I was cutting/sewing teddy bears.

It has taken quite a while because I've been dealing with carpal tunnel, but I did a little each day anyway until I finished. It's 2 yards of material. I had fun making it though, just picturing the boys happy little faces when they get it!
