    Playing with hearts

This is a technique by Lisa Walton from a DVD that came with an Australian quilting magazine a while ago called Cutout Magic.I thought I would just have a little play and made a smaller version than what was demonstrated. I love the way it turned out, I think I am going to make a bigger one. This one I will make into a cushion cover for my Mum.

This is great! You Australians have the best quilting magazines and books. I've checked into getting some here and they outrageously priced. Love your quilt!

I usually don't like heart themes/patterns, however, your example has given me a new appreciation for the shape. Lovely!!!
