I just love Maggie...what kind is she? She resembles my wire fox terrier, Heidi.

Maggie is a Westie (a West Highland White Terrier). They originated in Scotland. I am allergic to dogs and have asthma, so we had to have a hypoallergenic dog, which Westies are. She doesn't shed, which is soooo nice.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments on my quilt, and my dog! Yes she is a sweetheart, very nice temperment. She follows me everywhere I go, and drops at my feet. She isn't happy until I sit on the couch and let her crawl in my lap ( I don't think this is typical Westie behaviour!). But she is a terrier, so she will chase everything in the backyard, and bark (although not as bad as some). She loves to go for car rides (I think it's because she gets to sit in my lap again) and she is very friendly with people and dogs. She is a real gem and my family would be lost without her.
Thanks for looking! and for loving my Maggie!
