I love your quilt. What is its name?

When I saw your quilt so far my jaw dropped - it is incredible! Susan, that is Stunning! You MUST finish it and then show us all! That dotty fabric you are using for sashing and background really adds an amazing effect. It is clear that you have a wonderful eye for combining color and visual textures! I don't see any flaws, glaring or otherwise. Oh my gosh now I want to make a quilt like that. Thank you for giving us the name of the pattern... going to go look it up now!

It's a pretty design and pretty fabrics, and not too bad, considering the difficulty level. You sound like me now...start at the top and work your way down to the mid level, then on to something more difficult. lol The only way to learn is to jump in, so don't give up and try some smaller projects for a bit to hone your skills. Looks like you have "staying power" to get it done, since you're nearly there, and it really IS cute!

We've all been there at one time or another. You will have a very nice quilt when it's finished. I often jump right in and let the chips fall where they may, but I've also learned a lot along the way too. Don't get discouraged.

This is so nice for a first sewing project AND first quilt, wow!! It has a nice heirloom look to it. You are going to be so proud of yourself when you're done, keep up the good work!
