If you do straight lines, do it on the diagonal, not sitd

If you quilt with something curvy, it will help to hide "off" joints, etc. Also softens the look of the quilt. JMHO~

Ditto ... I always quilt mine with the loops or meandering.

This is what I would do too. It is also easier than straight lines and looks good on a childs quilt.

Have only wlk ft - can I meander?
Fancy machine stitches on janome only good to stitch size 2.5 and buch up a lot of material
?? Thx
