The rail fence block makes a nice quick quilt. You could also alternate the fence block with a plain block. Just about anything using 6.5 inch blocks go together quickly and would be sweet. Best wishes with your booth and sales.

I am pretty new to quilting, but I attended my 2nd quilt camp in Sept and made the Carpenters Star and it went together very very fast and has large pieces, but still has a great look. I will be putting the binding on Tuesday, so I don't have a pic.

Most of what is on the shelf was purchased at thrift shops where I only pay $.50 a yard when there is decent fabric's to pick from. Probably 60% or more of my stash was purchased at thrift shops.

I'm working on a split nine patch. Sew 9- 5 inch squares together in three rows of three (typical nine patch.) Then cut in half horizontally and vertically. Rearrange the four pieces as you like and resew. It's easy and very quick. Got it from the Moda website; listed as a table topper, but I've adapted it for a quilt.

I don't have pictures, but I sew quilts for the Linus Project. Some I have sewn are the Chinese Coin quilt (easy and pretty fast), strip quilts, Attic Windows, and I Spy. I like some of these because you can use up many of your scraps.
