I go to garage sales and thrift stores and it pains me to see all the afghans and quilts that are up for sale. I have picked up some. I call them orphan quilts. I adopt them.

I know people who make and donate them new to some of our area thrift stores such as one that is afflilated with our local hospitals...but it is so good that you rescuecd it anyway!!!
