Default PP Ponderosa Forest with FMQ-2 DONE So Far

Here are a couple of Christmas wall hangings I finished last night. They are loosely based on the Jeweled Forest design, but my own pattern to look more like our local Ponderosa forests. This is my first PP project and it's been fun! Here's my first post when I got some of them pieced http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t169218.html

I FMQ'd them using metalic thread; another first for me. I'm experimenting with a few different brands of metalic thread to see what my machine likes best. So far, the Superior metalics are in the lead.

These are pics of 2 of the smaller ones. The center panel in these was PP on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of freezer paper.

I'm liking the way my "Ponderosa Forest" is turning out, and have several more quilt and finish yet.

Enjoy!
