WOW! That is a gorgeous quilt!
Looks like a winner to me! :)

You did a fantastic job on the quilt, and I can see why your father and the LQS want you to enter it in the fair. I think it's definitely "ribbon worthy". Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It sure looks like a winner to me.

I think you should enter it.

I wouldn't look at it like that. I'd enter it to be able to share it's beauty with ALL that see it!~Also, it might INSPIRE someone to quilt!:) There are not enough ribbons to go around for EVERYONE and if they gave a ribbon to everyone, that would not be "special" at all. So, just enter it to be able to share it's beauty. I also like standing nearby and listening to strangers comments! :) It's FUN! Bet ya win though! :)
Your dad look so proud. :)

~~~~*don't know if I could handle the rejection if I don't win. *~~~~
Enter it to show it and please your dad. It is a beautiful quilt, and if it happens not to win (which I doubt) then count it off to unkind judges.... ;) I don't compete, but I do share in showing if I have something. Just enjoy it and know it is beautifully done. We have chosen a blue ribbon for you. Judging is sometimes over rated any way. YOU know it is good, so don't sweat the small stuff.
Yes, I entered a challenge in our fair. It was for a baby quilt contest for charity. So, right off I knew I would not take the quilt back home with me after the fair.
And I won first place in the challenge. I not only have a picture of the quilt at the fair and the ribbon, I have a picture of the quilt at the destination of the charity. Here it is below.
