Beautiful quilt! I've always loved the Tumbling Blocks pattern. It really suits itself to scraps, doesn't it? And just look at the borders! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing Karenmay! I enjoyed your other pictures as well.

Karen I looked at the link you pasted and those quilts are awesome over 300 years old and the have over 100 of them in the castle. I wish the quilts I make will last that long :D

That border is indeed amazing.
I would probably never have combined GFG in a border with Tumbling Blocks but there you see the stunning results. Can you imagine how tiny the GFG hexs must be?

Amazing quilt. Combining two patterns like that is amazing and to think it was probably all done by hand. WOW.
