I like this idea. I lead a boring life so mine would have something about eating, sleeping, going to Walmart and going to church. Oh, and going to visit my new grandson. haha :D

A friend of mine made a diary quilt with each square representing a day of their life in the year before her husband passed. It was her own handwriting and was very interesting reading.

What a fun idea! You can do a short version when grandkids visit from afar! Thanks for sharing!

That is amazing!! What we get into with these challenges. What a terrific keepsake for you and your family. Hope this wins...I can't imagine another that would come close, but you never know. There are a lot of crazy quilters out there!! Good luck!

WHAT a project!!! It is fabulous. My girlfriend does this with her camera on her phone (I still don't own such a gadget) She takes a pic each day to remind her of whatever's going on. I thought that was CRAZY enough, but I could never have conceived of doing it as a quilt!!

What a beautiful tribute to a year in your life. Nicely done also. Thanks for sharing a quilt with quite a story.
