Nice job. I did this pattern years ago for a GK. That did me in with paper piecing

Beautiful, super fantastic, adorable awesome quilt. love the colors and the design. I want it. best quilt i've seen in a long time. all the bells and whistles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
That is a beautiful quilt! It's proof that wonderful things take time. Your granddaughter is growing up alongside the quilt and will treasure it forever.
|
What a neat quilt! I could see where the design would be great for a young child and also suitable for a teenager. I wish you luck in quilting it.

Oh get it done for her. It is wonderful. Maybe tie it, you can make her another one when she gets older and have enough to get it quilted. Or maybe you'll be good enough on your sewing machine to quilt it yourself then. It is so pretty, get the batting and backing when you can and tie it with colored embroidery thread to match. Or pretty silk thread to match.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words. It will get quilted at some point and time.

You've created an adorable quilt!

Your quilt for your granddaughter is one of the most charming quilts I have ever seen! I like the fabrics you chose. I think this needs to be a priority. You can quilt it yourself if funds are not available to have it done. The quilting can be simple such as crosshatching or channel type quilting. Or, watch some videos (lots of free ones) and practice on some muslin sandwiches if you want some motifs. I know you would really please your granddaughter and that would be worth all the effort.

Thanks so much, I may give it a try.

Beautiful. I bought that pattern several years ago but it is beyond my talents. I gifted it to a friend and hope she makes it.
