Enoy her!!! Mom & I used to quilt together and had so much fun. As she got older she handed stitched all my binding down for me, then the dementa set in and I lost her. Miss our good times together. Enjoy you time together and make many good memories.

Isn't this the best hobby! Your mom is a wonder. Her quilt is absolutely beautiful and she sure doesn't look 86, she has a beautiful complexion and love the color of her hair. It's great when as you get older and you can make something of beauty to share with others. My mom is 94 and has sewn all of her life until a couple of years ago when her eye sight and old Arthur got the best of her. She really misses her sewing but looks forward to seeing what my next project is. God bless mothers

Just beautiful. I get such encouragemnt from seeing what others have done. I am a beginner to quilting and still cautious to try anything too complicated. Seeing the wonderful quilts does give me some courage. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my, I love the way the flames set off the stars

My 80 year old Uncle is still talking about me posting his picture with his quilt. I copied all the responses and mailed them to him there in Mississippi. It does mean a lot to them as they get older to be special, it means a lot to me also to know that I made his days for him.
