I have completed this block 16 but the gold embroidery seems lost on the lavender and white print heart, not sure what to do now

I would leave it Pattis....I actually forgot to do that bit on mine, but I'm going to go back to do it. I think that some of the details on the quilt are to be viewed at a distance, and some are to be viewed up close....that is an "up close" one. :wink: And I think you block is lovely with that fussy cut lavender!! So pretty and the center has that cute little flower on it too!

I also agree, there are some that the embroidery doesn't show as much as others, but by the time you get the blocks all together, they look great. I like your lavendar colour scheme too.
