These are totally gorgeous. I bought the pattern quite awhile ago but the idea of needleturn doesn't excite me at all. Especially that much. What a wonderful job you've done on yours.

Good job for your first attempt at applique! I also love to use marble-type prints for applique, gives lots of texture without cutting lots of little pieces. The black makes it look like it glows! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see more.

You are doing a wonderful job. I really love the colors. I have taught myself quilting out of books and the internet. I love the needle turned applique but mine in not even close to being as nice as yours.
