Here is the finished quilt for Alyssa. Machine on the blink (again) so can´t do the label till I get the part (about a week). Think the batting I used was too thick and its a bit fluffy in places, its not perfect but its done.

It is just beautiful! I love the colors, the scalloped edges it is very pretty. I think Alyssa will be thrilled !! It will be her custom quilt and the puffiness makes it look that much more snuggly.

Melissa, I never for one moment thought I would hand quilt, I looked at my other companions at the club sewing away and I said never will I have the patience to do a quilt like that. Then I saw how beautiful their quilts were and thought, well never say never :D Anyway think I am hooked :D

Elle, it sure turned out gorgeous! I have to admit that I'm jealous of Alyssa! You know I love the watercolor center and who would of thought to put the hearts and lovely swags on it....then the hand quilting design to top it off???? Great job on this one. Your hand quilting stitches look lots better than mine :lol:
