I have a related question. Do all Amish quilts have a certain common denominator regarding colors or patterns used in their quilts? I have noticed that many have black in them, but maybe not all?

I like the dahlia. Are some of those fabrics prints? From what I understand, Amish would not use prints, only solids. The patterns are traditional Amish patterns however.
